Just a five-minute drive from the A73, on the edge of the protected fen area near Nijmegen, lies the gateway to Slapen aan het Ven.
As soon as you drive up the driveway of the 12,000 m² property, you enter an oasis of peace and nature. The wellness lodge, with a unique view over the water, is stylishly designed and furnished in a ‘hotel chic’ style. Here you enjoy luxury, comfort, and privacy.

A hidden gem
The lodge is a hidden gem on the estate, with only the caretaker as a neighbor. Park your car in the fenced parking area in front of the caretaker’s house. Follow the charming path on the left, and there you will find the lodge, which welcomes you with a beautiful view!
In the lodge you can enjoy, among other things:
- A comfortable king-size double box spring bed with bed linen and a panoramic view (with air conditioning and fan).
- A cozy seating area.
- A kitchenette, equipped with, among other things, a Nespresso machine, milk frother, kettle, and air fryer.
- A minibar with drinks and snacks.
- Bathroom with rain shower, towel set, shampoo and shower gel by Marie Stella Maris, and underfloor heating.
For warm summer days, air conditioning and a fan are available, while underfloor heating keeps you warm during cooler moments. Towels, bathrobes, and slippers are included.
Every morning between 8:00 and 10:00, an extensive breakfast is ready for you to start your day off right.
Thanks to the large windows and French doors, the surrounding nature is brought inside, allowing the interior and exterior to flow seamlessly into one another and creating a perfect balance between elegance and relaxation.
A beautiful private experience awaits outside. The spacious 45 m² terrace consists of two levels directly on the water and offers complete privacy. Relax on the sun loungers, enjoy dinner at the dining table with a parasol, or warm yourself on cooler evenings with the patio heater.
The absolute highlight is the 5-person Beachcomber jacuzzi by the water. From the warm hot tub, you enjoy peace, nature, and a stunning view. In addition, you have exclusive access to a large part of the 3,500 m² private garden with various atmospheric seating areas by the water.

Every morning, a hearty breakfast is served between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. You can choose whether to have breakfast on the terrace by the water or comfortably inside at the dining table.

Upon arrival, a well-presented welcome package awaits in the minibar with drinks and snacks to start your stay in a relaxed manner.
Table grill or BBQ
Would you like to dine at the lodge during your stay? We will set up the table grill or BBQ for you (for outdoor use only). If you would like to be completely taken care of, please let us know.

A charging station is available for guests in the parking lot (for a fee). There is also a charging facility for bicycles (free of charge).
